In addition, we offer a wide array of "no extra cost" options, which are listed below. Most guitar manufacturers apply extra fees for such options, but here at GMW, we prefer to allow the customer complete freedom in building the guitar of their dreams without having to worry about a host of extra charges. Multiple pickup and bridge options, a high gloss or satin finished maple neck and our classic Empire headstock design are included with each Empire guitar.  You may specify either a maple or rosewood fingerboard, although an ebony fingerboard is available for an added charge.  All Empire guitars include a full compliment of abalone binding on both the  headstock and body, with a white cap being utilized around the abalone.  Optional white neck binding may also be ordered.

Customers are invited to browse our Empire Custom Guitar Price Menu to help you realize the custom guitar of your dreams. It's easy, and you don't need to bust the bank to achieve the guitar you develop.

Empire LTS Standard Model:  The Empire LTS Standard guitar is the most popular model in the Empire family.  Standard features include either a swamp ash or solid one piece mahogany body, plus a highly figured flame or quilt maple laminate top.  A korina (white or black limba) body is also available upon request for an extra charge.  We've also used such woods as flame koa, spalted maple, sapele (pronounced "sa-pee-lee"), burl maple, flame redwood and figured camphor burl maple, so please inquire if an alternate wood for the laminate top is desired.  Other woods such as lacewood, rosewood, bubinga, flame cedar, paduak, zebrawood, purple heart and birdseye maple are also available upon request. Finally, the Empire LTS models also feature our classic "tri-leaf" inlays, 6150 Dunlop frets, a bone nut, Sperzel Trim Lock locking tuners, Schaller strap locks and our angled heel scallop feature.  A more custom version of the Empire LTS guitar is also available if differing fingerboard inlays are requested in place of the standard tri-leaf inlays. For full pricing details and additional options, simply use the Empire Custom Guitar Price Menu

Empire ATS Model:  The Empire ATS model is an obvious extension of the our Empire LTS guitar.  Like with the LTS model, it typically includes a highly figured flame or quilt maple laminate top, with a top thickness of approximately 5/8" at the center of the body.   It's a perfect choice for those that want a little extra in terms of styling and a custom shop appearance.  Typical body woods are swamp ash and one piece mahogany, although like the Empire LTS model, we've also made these using alternate woods such as quilt or flame maple.  As with the Empire LTS Standard model, korina (white or black limba) is also available upon request for an additional charge.

Empire CT Model:  The Empire CT model simply expands the Empire line into another familiar body style found throughout the guitar manufacturing industry.  All of the features described for the Empire CS and LTS models are applicable to the Empire CT model.  To date, we have never produced an arch top version of the CT model analogous to our ATS guitar, but it is available upon request.
